CCR REBAT UK is an approved Battery Compliance Scheme since September 2009 and operating under the Environment Agency approval number: BCS2010993/E.
We are dedicated and passionate about the environmentally sound collection and recycling of portable, industrial, and automotive waste batteries and accumulators in the United Kingdom.
CCR REBAT UK has been present in the UK market since 2004 offering take back and reverse logistics services to battery producers. Our nationwide network of collection points, management of authorised containers and strict compliance with transportation and export regulations of dangerous and hazardous waste has allowed us to collect and recycle over 60,000 tonnes of waste batteries.
We are working closely with battery producers, producer compliance schemes, local authories and end users in order to not only protect the environment, but also provide cost-effective and intelligent solutions. Since the end of 2009 CCR REBAT enjoys the support and partnership of seven of the most important UK producer compliance schemes:

Participating in CCR REBAT facilitates Battery Producers and Distributors to fully meet their Batteries obligations provided by the Directive 2006/66/ECG, and transposed Into the UK with “The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009”.
